    Supplies You’ll Need:

    Two pieces of fleece fabric the same size – Fabric should be at least 40 inches wide, but most fabrics are 54 inches wide which is perfect. For large blankets, two yards of fabric is recommended. For smaller sized blankets for babies or pets, one and a half yards of fabric is fine. They can be different colors or patterns, and can be found at Jo-Ann Fabrics or Walmart.

The Chamber 2010 10-10 Challenge is their newest program in which shoppers are to spend $10 or more at 10 different Chamber member establishments, within one month, save the receipts, and turn them in to be placed in a drawing for Chamber gift certificates. The community will offer assisted living, a special care unit for people with Alzheimer’s disease and 2-bedroom villas for seniors who are able to live independently but don’t want the hassles of home ownership any longer. The people of Rittenhouse Senior Living believe that residents come first in everything they do.

    Last fall, Rittenhouse Senior Living in partnership with developer Steve Garatoni, opened communities in Michigan City and Valparaiso. Rittenhouse is a privately held, national senior living company currently operating in four states.

    Geese are as natural a part of the cycle of seasons in Northwest Indiana as molting leaves, changing temperatures and wardrobe shifts. Whether the birds all flock up to Canada and stop by Indiana on a temporary basis or stay here permanently, geese can often cause much frustration for people.
